9:00 AM: Arrival at Akagera National Park: After approximately two and a half hours of travel, you'll arrive at Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, you'll register and meet your park guide, who will accompany you throughout the day.
9:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Morning Game Drive: Your safari adventure kicks off with a thrilling game drive through the park's vast Savannah plains, woodlands, and lake shores. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions, black-tailed Mongoose, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, and bush babies.
2:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Afternoon Boat Cruise at Lake Ihema: Experience the serene beauty of Lake Ihema during a leisurely boat cruise. Marvel at the sight of hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of water birds as you glide along the lake's tranquil waters.
4:30 PM: Departure for Kigali: Bid farewell to Akagera National Park as you embark on the journey back to Kigali.
7:30 PM: Return to Kigali: Expect to arrive back in the capital late in the evening, concluding your memorable 1-day safari to Akagera National Park.
